Widad Alami, PA-C
Widad Alami, PA-C, comes from Jerusalem, Palestine, with a strong cultural background and is a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant. She graduated from D’Youville University in Buffalo, NY, in 2019. Widad Alami has a notable background in pain management where she has hands-on skills in suturing, splinting, and trigger point injections. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holding licenses from the North Carolina Medical Board, Widad has been an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) for many years and also published her graduate thesis in the Journal of the American Academy of PAs on the topic of organ donation among college students. Fluent in both Arabic and English, she has volunteered at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem where she shadowed physicians in cardiology and surgery. Now a part of the Kansas City Kidney Consultants team, Widad is eager to contribute her skills and knowledge to provide top-notch care to patients. Widad loves to travel with her husband around the world and in the Middle East. She looks forward to spending time with family and two parakeets.
